Our proprietary calcium phosphate bioceramic, Octane Skelite, uses the element silicon to generate a phase composition that is naturally remodelled by the activity of bone cells (osteoclasts, osteoblasts)*. After initial bone stabilization, silicon promotes bone regeneration, progressively replacing the calcium phosphate scaffold throughout the implant with natural bone tissue*.
